Santi \u00e9 un robot cuadr\u00fapede do <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gti.uvigo.es\/index.php\/es\/\">Grupo de Tecnolox\u00edas da Informaci\u00f3n (GTI)<\/a><\/strong> do <a href=\"https:\/\/atlanttic.uvigo.es\/es\/\">centro de investigaci\u00f3n atlanTTic<\/a> da Universidade de Vigo e, nesta particular peregrinaci\u00f3n, foi tam\u00e9n os ollos e os p\u00e9s de Elisa, unha empregada da empresa Cisco con mobilidade reducida que, grazas a este robot, tivo a posibilidade de realizar, desde Italia, varios tramos do Cami\u00f1o de Santiago \u2018tele-cami\u00f1ando\u2019, unha experiencia a que se referiu como \u201ctremendamente satisfactoria\u201d e da quedou \u201cmoi contenta\u201d, tal e como lles trasladou aos enxe\u00f1eiros da UVigo implicados neste proxecto: Alberto Est\u00e9vez, Rub\u00e9n P\u00e9rez, Javier Gonz\u00e1lez Casta\u00f1o e Felipe Gil.<\/p>\n<p>A iniciativa formou parte dun reto solidario impulsado por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisco.com\/c\/es_es\/index.html\">Cisco<\/a> na que m\u00e1is de 400 empregadas e empregados da firma procedentes de 20 pa\u00edses, inclu\u00edndo \u00e1 propia Elisa, completaron o \u00faltimo tramo do cami\u00f1o recadando fondos para diferentes causas, entre elas, a loita contra o cancro.<\/p>\n<h3>Felipe Gil: \u201cCumpr\u00edronse todas as nosas expectativas\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>Santi e Elisa percorreron xuntos dous tramos do Cami\u00f1o: a sa\u00edda desde Portomar\u00edn e a chegada \u00e1 praza do Obradoiro, onde, seguindo as instruci\u00f3ns dos enxe\u00f1eiros da UVigo, non dubidou en bailar o tema \u00a0<em>Terra<\/em>\u00a0das Tanxugueiras. \u201cCumpr\u00edronse todas as nosas expectativas de funcionamento do sistema, non deu problemas nin en terreos pedregosos, nin en terra, nin tampouco en asfalto\u201d, explica o profesor Felipe Gil, quen salientou que \u201cas cousas foron, incluso, mellor do agardado\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Equipado cunha c\u00e1mara de visi\u00f3n 360, adaptada polo grupo GTI da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/es\">UVigo<\/a>, e conectado \u00e1 rede 5G de Telef\u00f3nica, que achega a velocidade e latencia necesarias para responder en tempo real, Santi puido seguir as ordes de Elisa a trav\u00e9s de la plataforma de colaboraci\u00f3n <strong>Cisco Webex<\/strong> e dunha interfaz tipo \u2019joystick\u2019 dese\u00f1ada especificamente por Makenai.<\/p>\n<p>De cara a posibles perfeccionamentos do funcionamento de Santi, desde a UVigo intentar\u00e1n seguir mellorando o sistema de visionado e tratarase tam\u00e9n de que a persoa que o ten en remoto poida empregar unhas gafas de realidade virtual, \u201cde maneira que sexa a\u00ednda m\u00e1is inmersivo e se incremente tam\u00e9n a sensaci\u00f3n de realidade\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fonte: <a
